In the beginning, God create man in His image and likeness. Man’s heart was like that of God hence, God always descend from heaven to discuss with man and, this is how He (God) found out man has fallen from grace hence, sin originated and formed a barrier between man and God. From henceforth the heart of man and that of God cease to be the same. Darkness and wickedness beclouded the heart of man to the extent that the heart of man can deceive the owner.
The heart of man is an industry that churns out good and evil. From the heart of man comes evil desires, murder, theft …. (Mark Ch 7 vs 20 – 21). The bible acknowledges that what enters a man do not defile him but that which come out of him because from the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks (Luke Ch 6 vs 45) followed by acting.
Jeremiah chapter 17 verse 10, “I Yahwah search the heart and penetrate the mind…”. As deep and deceitful the heart of man, only God can tell its true intent. Therefore, to understand the heart of man, you need Christ through whom you can have access to the Father. Christ not as used and dump but Christ residing in you fully, transforming you and bringing you into the fullness of a man He uses.
Jesus loves you and wants you to inherit the goodness He prepared for those who responds positively to this love in this life and hereafter.
WHY CAN’T CHRIST GIVE ME THESE “GOODIES” WITHOUT BEING IN HIM? Christ loves you so much to allow you destroy yourself. If he gives you these “Goodies” in this state of your heart, you will be an endangered human to yourself. Judas Iscariot is an example. He had the priviledge of being an apostle of Jesus, sold Jesus made so much money yet, killed himself.
Come closer, receive the life of Christ, Let the Holy Spirit fill and transform you and you will enjoy the full goodness of Christ.
